Overview
OGKit ("we", "us") provides social preview image generation. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum needed to render your images and run your account — nothing more.
What we collect
Account data (email, name, and OAuth identifiers from GitHub if you use it). Template data (the layouts, text bindings, and uploaded logos you create). Render metadata (the field values passed to your render URLs and timestamps, used to cache and regenerate images). Basic usage analytics (page views and feature usage, aggregated).
How we use it
To render and cache your preview images, enforce plan limits (such as the free-tier generation cap), bill Pro subscriptions, and improve the product. We do not sell your data or use your template content to train third-party models.
Image rendering & caching
When a crawler fetches an OGKit render URL, we generate an image from your template and the supplied field values, then cache it at the edge. Cached images may persist until the bound content changes or the cache is invalidated.
Data retention
We keep account and template data while your account is active. Delete a template and its renders are purged from cache within 30 days. Close your account and we remove personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or billing reasons.
Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time from Account → Settings, or by emailing privacy@ogkit.dev. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific data rights (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), those rights apply.
